Xmas 19-05 Brighter

In view of the coronavirus restrictions and lockdown until 2 December our plans for Christmas have had to be re-jigged.

With great reluctance our Christmas Supper & Music Hall on Saturday 12 December has been cancelled. The social distancing rules and restrictions on numbers make the event unfeasible.

The Christmas Coffee Morning scheduled for 28 November has been provisionally moved to 10.00am on Saturday 12 December instead. We are planning to hold the event both inside and outside the Hall, manage the numbers and maintain the social distancing required. We will let you know closer to the time if it is actually going ahead or has to be cancelled entirely.

Christmas is Coming is another non-starter sadly. Once again the social distancing rules and restrictions on numbers make the event impossible. In addition there is a ban on singing so we couldn’t have any carols indoors or outdoors. Nevertheless we can still put up a tree and have it illuminated. We will put the tree up as soon as the lock-down is over. Like you, we are bitterly disappointed that we can’t all gather together to celebrate the start of what should be the festive period.
