The building comprises an attractive, beamed main hall comfortably seating up to 80 people theatre style or at tables, a stage with professional lighting, a bar with two serving hatches, a modern kitchen equipped to commercial standards, and an extensive car park. The Hall has a sloping entrance path to enable disabled access. There is also a large slabbed garden to the rear of the Hall, also with a sloping entrance if needed.
The Hall has a full audio-visual system. Above the stage there is a drop down projection screen that is operated by remote control, which can be used in conjunction with the ceiling mounted projector. The state-of-the-art mixing desk can accept up to 12 input channels and incorporates a CD player and power amplifier driving 6 speakers. A Bluetooth connection is also built in. Presenters have the choice of hand-held or lapel radio mikes and a cable mike with floor stand. The mixing desk and/or a laptop computer can be used at either end of the Hall to suit the type of event being staged. Live television can be screened through a Freesat system subject to licencing .
The main Hall is approximately 14 metres long and 7 metres wide.
There are 18 large folding tables and 6 small tables available for use, together with 100 padded chairs.
Behind the main Hall there are two changing/cloakrooms with toilets and wash basins.
A second ladies cloakroom and disabled visitor facilities are available at the other end of the Hall
The bar facility is equipped with a sink with an instant hot water boiler , a glass washer and an illuminated, glass fronted display chiller for drinks. There is racking for stored glasses, cupboards and under counter drawers. There are counter tops on both sides of the bar and two roll-up, lockable hatches for serving.
The kitchen comprises a range cooker with a gas hob and large electric oven, a hot cupboard with bains marie top, a pass-through dishwasher, a fridge freezer, and an instant water heater. There is a serving hatch to the main Hall and two serving trolleys.
